Historia del Sistema de Información Logístico Coordinado del Sector Defensa de Colombia - SILOG

La presente publicación Historia del Sistema de Información Logístico Coordinado del Sector Defensa de Colombia -SILOG-, desarrolla en cuatro capítulos, el acercamiento a este sistema de información que cambió vidas y perspectivas en la Fuerza Pública colombiana y desentraña la naturaleza, el alcance y el impacto que conllevó al cambio de pensamiento de los funcionarios tanto internos como externos frente al conocimiento y manejo de esta herramienta en bien de la eficiencia para el logro de las acciones correctas en el momento y lugar asertivos.

En consecuencia, la lectura de tipo articular y dimensional permite profundizar en el primer capítulo, el concepto de Logística, su evolución histórica en el mundo y el impacto de la globalización en su práctica y su devenir particular en el contexto de las Fuerzas Militares de Colombia; por su parte, el segundo capítulo explora la evolución histórica de la Logística en el contexto de las Fuerzas Armadas de Colombia, tanto en su teoría como en su práctica, analizando con detenimiento la Logística Militar y la doctrina militar conjunta en el país, sus particularidades, sus características, sus ventajas y sus aplicaciones en procura de la Seguridad y Defensa nacionales para posteriormente, en el tercer capítulo, examinar la revolución de la integración logística dentro de las Fuerzas Armadas en su momento de aplicabilidad y construcción como nuevo esquema de información desde su ejecución y proyección. Es así como todo lo anterior confluye en el capítulo cuarto en donde se expone la realidad actual del SILOG y el Centro Nacional de Mantenimiento Conjunto y Coordinado (CNMCC), a través de las intervenciones de funcionarios militares,

no militares y del sector privado, partícipes de la experiencia SILOG, en aras de la modernización y renovación de la Logística Militar de las Fuerzas Militares de Colombia y la Policía Nacional.

Su contenido es un producto vinculado al Grupo de Investigación “Masa Critica”, correspondiente a la linea de investigación “Logística y Administración Militar”. Como resultado el proyecto de investigación “Historia del Sistema de Información Logístico Coordinado del Sector Defensa de Colombia -SILOG-”

Abstract.

The present publication History of the Coordinated Logistic Information System of the Colombian Defense Sector -SILOG-, develops in four chapters, the approach to this information system that changed lives and perspectives in the Colombian Public Force and unravels the nature, scope and impact that led to the change of thinking of both internal and external officials regarding the knowledge and management of this tool for the sake of efficiency for the achievement of the right actions at the right time and in the right place.

Consequently, the articulated and dimensional reading allows to deepen in the first chapter, the concept of Logistics, its historical evolution in the world and the impact of globalization in its practice and its particular evolution in the context of the Colombian Armed Forces; The second chapter explores the historical evolution of Logistics in the context of the Colombian Armed Forces, both in its theory and practice, analyzing in detail the Military Logistics and the joint military doctrine in the country, its particularities, characteristics, advantages and applications in pursuit of national security and defense, and then, in the third chapter, examining the revolution of logistics integration within the Armed Forces at the time of its applicability and construction as a new information scheme from its execution and projection. This is how all of the above converges in the fourth chapter where the current reality of SILOG and the National Joint and Coordinated Maintenance Center (CNMCC) is presented, through the interventions of military, non-military and private sector officials, participants in the SILOG experience, for the sake of modernization and renewal of the Military Logistics of the Colombian Armed Forces and the National Police.

Its content is a product linked to the “Masa Critica” Research Group, corresponding to the “Logistics and Military Administration” research line. As a result of the research project “History of the Coordinated Logistic Information System of the Colombian Defense Sector -SILOG-”.
